Last day of Term

Good afternoon Parents & Caregivers

Please note that the school day ends at 2:10pm tomorrow.

Also please don’t forget our shared lunch tomorrow. If you happen to bring anything that needs heating, I can do small quantities in the staff room.

Last reminder: the SRC are holding a casual day tomorrow, gold coin donation. There is no theme so come in your favourite clothes!

Cheers to the holidays!  We hope you have a safe one.

Kind regards

Farewell shared lunch on Friday

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Sadly, Friday will be Fox’s last day in our class as he is relocating to another school. Room 11 would like to hold a shared lunch to celebrate his time with us. We kindly ask for children to bring along a small plate to share for lunch this Friday. Can girls please bring along a savoury dish and boys please bring along a plate of sweets.

Apologies for the late notice. A note will be sent home tomorrow.

Kind regards

Mrs Simmons and Ms Bianca

CSIRO Vegetable Sandwich Lunch

Making our own  vegetable sandwiches today was a lovely way to finish off our CSIRO health unit focussing on teaching students that they more they try a vegetable the more likely the chance that they will like it. The unit also focused on the five senses we use when we eat and how to identify different tastes such as bitter, salty and sweet. Thank you so much for your donations today for our shared lunch and well done to our risk taking food adventurers. 😁😁😁

Class Picnic

Our class picnic is this Wednesday to finish off our unit of work. We are asking for $1 or $2 to contribute to the students vegetable sandwich.

Please advise us of any allergies. For those we know of, we have purchased gluten free bread.

Thank you 😊

Sports Day wrap up

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Thank you for coming to support our class for sports day. The weather was perfect and it was fantastic to see you all there.

The children had so many opportunities to try new sports, work in a team, take risks and have an enjoyable day. I have tried to capture as many memorable moments as possible.

My sincere thanks to those mums and dads who helped our class with carrying the water bottles, organising the children, recording and activities. Your support is so valuable and helps our day run smoother.

I hope you enjoy the snaps.

Kind regards

Sports Day

Good evening Parents and Caregivers

Here are some tips for tomorrow’s Sports Day. Children come to school dressed in their sports colours. They need to wear their school hat. If lost, a wide brimmed hat is suitable. Can children please have sunscreen applied before school and some extra to reapply throughout the day. The forecast is 25 deg and sunny.

Children will also need their water bottles and perhaps some extra food as it’s an active day. The children will have their regular recess and lunch breaks.

Hopefully you have received your Sports Day program. If not there will be spares on the day.

Please note there will also be a cake stall, filled with delicious goods.

We can’t wait to see you there.
